I took this photo at Ft. Pickens on the west end of Pensacola Beach while the sun was setting.
Sprawl
Along the shoreline you sometimes find old trees with their roots undermined from the erosion of small waves and the tides. I particularly like this tree for its almost desperate grasp to the shoreline.

Northwind
The ocean during the winter is an ideal time to take photos of the surf at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico on Pensacola Beach. The northwind howls and sheers the tops of the waves creating a cool texture.

Rainmaker
I was leaving the beach after shooting some rain clouds and I saw the wet decking and these folks standing there with an umbrella and I ran over real quick and grabbed the shot. The perspective and contrast is what drew me to the shot.

Painterly II
I used a 9s shutter speed to create a blur that ended up looking very painterly. The early morning was an ideal time to shoot before there were any footprints which added to the texture.

I saw this thick rope on this dock as the sun was going down and I just loved the perspective and had to get some shots of this. This was in Caye Caulker a tiny island off the coast of Belize.
